Maiju Roine

I am a pianist and piano teacher at the Lapland Music Institute in Rovaniemi. I write piano miniatures for children and young players: four collections, published by Sulasol and illustrated by Lotta Vuorma.

When I compose, I think of the student: the right piece is easy enough yet leaves room to learn, fits a young player’s hand, and makes you want to practise it again and again. Read more.
